May Spotlight Drop 3 Program Overview

The Drop 3 version of the May Spotlight Program continues the familiar structure: earn program points by completing Moments, statistical missions, and optional challenges. Players can also speed up progress by locking in specific card collections.

To complete the full 50-point path, players will need to mix gameplay in both offline and online modes, with a strong emphasis on parallel XP (PXP) grinding and specific stat goals.

Program Missions and Tasks

The main way to progress through the program is through a combination of Moments and stat-based objectives.

Moments (28 Points Total)

There are 7 Moments based on real-life player performances. Each Moment is worth 4 points, making this a consistent and reliable way to build progress early in the program.

These are straightforward single-player challenges and usually serve as the foundation of the grind before moving into stat missions.

Extreme Challenge (Optional – 30 Points)

For players looking to speed through the program, there is an optional high-difficulty challenge:

• Score 8 runs on Hall of Fame difficulty

This is not required, but completing it provides a large chunk of points and can significantly reduce the time needed to reach the final reward tier.

Stat Missions

The bulk of the program grind comes from parallel XP and gameplay stats:

• Earn 5,000 PXP with any player items (15 points)
• Earn 1,000 PXP using Spotlight or Topps Now series players (15 points)
• Hit 10 home runs using primary infielders (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS) (10 points)
• Record 12 strikeouts using Relief Pitchers (RP) or Closers (CP) (10 points)

These missions naturally overlap if you build your lineup carefully, especially when mixing Spotlight and Topps Now cards to double-dip on objectives.

Optional Collections

Players who prefer skipping grind-heavy missions can instead use collections. Locking in eligible Spotlight or Topps Now cards from Pack Drop 3 allows you to bypass certain stat requirements entirely.

This is especially useful for players who plan to open packs anyway or invest in the new Drop 3 content.
