U4GM Jotunn Star Tips for Black Ops 7 Zombies

Unlock the Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 7 Zombies, from Dry Dock's Chain Link to the lighthouse ritual, then boost it fast with Pack-a-Punch.

Getting the Jotunn Star on Totenreich isn't something you stumble into while spinning the box and hoping for the best. The map makes you earn it, and if you're coming in cold, you'll feel that pretty quickly. Before the quest properly opens up, you need power restored and Pack-a-Punch available. A lot of players rush past that step, then wonder why nothing seems to trigger. Don't do that. Set yourself up first, get a weapon that can actually carry a few messy rounds, and treat the early game like prep work. If you're trying to save time or keep pace with friends, CoD BO7 Boosting can be something players look into, but the route itself still rewards clean movement and a bit of patience.

Start at the Dry Dock

Once the basics are done, make your way to the Dry Dock. This is where the quest stops being straightforward. There's a crane interaction that drops a platform for a short window, and you've got to use it to line up a wall-jump near the front of the ship. The goal is to grab the Chain Link while you're in the air. It sounds simple when someone explains it, but in-game it's easy to mistime, especially with zombies crowding your back. Clear space before you try it. If you miss, don't panic. Reset, breathe, and try again. That Chain Link matters because it's what lets you open the sealed shrine later in the Burial Grounds.

Open the shrine and force the elite spawn

With the Chain Link in hand, head for the Burial Grounds and unlock the shrine. From there, the quest turns into a short item hunt. You're looking for Chili Chunks near the bridge, then carrying them to the setup table in Skallen Market. This step is easy to overlook because it doesn't feel like a weapon quest at first. Once the items are placed, though, the map throws a Zursa-type elite at you. Bring something upgraded if you can. The enemy soaks damage, and fighting it in a cramped lane is a bad idea. Keep moving, use the market space, and burn it down. When it drops, pick up the Lantern. That's your next real key item.

Solve the constellation room

Take the Lantern back to the shrine and place it on the middle pedestal. Now you'll get the constellation puzzle, and no, there isn't one fixed answer you can copy every match. The symbols change, so you need to read what's on the walls and match the pattern yourself. It's not hard once you slow down, but people mess it up by rushing while zombies are still active. Leave one crawler if you can, or have a teammate cover you. When the puzzle is solved, a spirit appears and starts moving. Stay close. It'll guide you across awkward parts of the map, including vertical routes where getting boxed in can ruin the run fast.

Claim it at the lighthouse

The escort ends at the lighthouse, and this last stretch is more about staying alive than solving anything clever. Follow the spirit to the top, interact when prompted, and the Jotunn Star is yours. After that, the upgrade path is almost funny compared with the work you just put in. Take it straight to Pack-a-Punch and let the machine do its job. The damage jump is noticeable, and the elemental effects become much more useful once rounds start dragging. Players who don't want to spend every session rebuilding from scratch sometimes buy CoD BO7 Boosting to keep things moving, but learning this quest properly makes the weapon feel earned every time you pull it off.
